Kerri Lynne Thorp - Board VP of NW Documentary
Kerri is a Portland based documentary producer, editor and educator. Kerri is launching 360 documentary program at NW Documentary and is currently in development of an interactive storytelling mobile VR app. Kerri will discuss how immersive technologies are revolutionizing the art of documentary storytelling.
Will Maurer - VP of VR/VFX at Legend
With over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, Will's background encompasses VR, VFX, Animation, Story Development& 3D Conversion.
His expertise on both the creative and production sides of the industry has been a key factor in his ability to build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with filmmakers and studio execs. He has produced VR, VFX and 3D projects for Fox, Sony, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, Paramount, Annapurna Pictures, Alcon Entertainment, Samsung, Mastercard, and the Legendary Stan Lee.
In addition, Will has shared his experience in VR on panels at Sundance, TIFF, VR on the Lot, VES, Digital Hollywood, the HP Summit and at the NASDAQ. Will's passions lie in collaborating with difference makers across the VR Landscape to set new standards for storytelling, visual, audio and distribution/monetization for VR.
Alton Glass is an award winning writer/director known for his film "CRU" which won Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Film at the 18th Annual American Black Film Festival presented by HBO.
Most recently he produced a Live Action/Animation VR Film called "A Little Love" and has been accepted to be apart of the Oculus Launch Pad.
Alton will be sharing a behind-the-scenes look at producing 360/VR films, along with his experience working with this exciting new medium. He will also be showing previews of his newest VR Film "A Little Love"
